Rotarians in Service for Equality (R.I.S.E.)

Rotarians in Service for Equality (RISE) is a caused-base Rotary Club that aims to increase awareness of LGBTQIA+ issues and provide services to individuals and communities in need. In addition to doing rewarding and meaningful work, our members have greatly benefited from connecting with other like-minded individuals who have a passion for philanthropy and community service.

Are you an established professional who wants to make positive changes in your community and the world? Our club members are dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship. Joining RISE connects you with a diverse group who share your drive to give back and support Equality.
Our club meets every first and third Tuesday of the month (see the calendar for details). We accepts new members by invitation, but we love having guests stop by to see what we are all about. Come visit us as a guest and learn more about becoming a member.
This month's guest speaker,
Dr. Mike Saag
Join us on Tuesday, 16 July, to hear Dr. Saag talk about his 35 years of clinical research on HIV, COVID, and other infectious diseases and about his published memoir titled, "Positive: One Doctor's Encounters with Death, Life, and the US Healthcare System."
You can read Dr. Saag's bio here.

Join us for our next regularly scheduled meeting to learn more about our current projects. We strive to have a mix of local and internet-based opportunities.

We work with groups and organizations of all sizes to accomplish even more. Are you part of a group with a similar mission as ours? Let us know and we’d love to learn more about your group. We’re always looking for other groups in the community to share resources, volunteers, and grants.
